That's why at Hornet Moving, we do everything we can to streamline your move, keep overhead low, and provide you with the area's best team of affordable Charlotte movers.

We will provide you with a 26-foot truck and two movers to load up your items, transport, and unload them at your new destination. Packing services and loading or unloading only services are also available. 2 hour minimum.

Friday - sunday

We offer the same exceptional services Friday through Sunday. 3 hour minimum.

ADDITIONAL truck

Our 26-foot box trucks hold roughly 1,500-1,700 SF of furnished living space. If your residence or office is over 1,700 square feet we recommend adding additional trucks and crew members to make your move as fast and efficient as possible.

WE ACCEPT CHECKS AND ALL MAJOR CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS.

There is a 3% surcharge for ALL card payments.

Pricing Information

Here’s the pricing you can expect for our Charlotte movers:

  • $170 per hour for a 26-foot moving truck and two movers with a two-hour minimum required on all jobs Monday - Thursday.

  • $180 per hour for a 26-foot moving truck and two movers with a three-hour minimum required on all jobs Friday - Sunday.

  • Additional movers: $50 more, per hour.

  • Overnight storage = $250 per truck, per night

  • Billing starts when we arrive at your home. We charge by the minute and never round up so you don’t pay for the time you don’t use.

  • Piano moving and gun safe delivery is $100 extra. We can move spinnet and upright pianos and gun safes up to 500 pounds.

  • We don’t charge a travel fee for local moves. Outside of Charlotte, the charge is $1.50 per mile.

  • We are fully licensed and insured. We offer basic value protection with every move, full value at cost.
